Regarding the BL4Y guys.. Stefan is pretty awesome. He actuall will even fix your display for free IF it's something he doesn't already have.. Something to mention that I didn't know about the backlight 4 you guys is that I happen to own a ART Multiverb III that needed a backlight so I asked.. and because it was something he didn't have yet, he offered to fix it for free (to expand his catalog of products).. cost me $13 to ship the display to Germany. Super excited to have a nice backlight on it again. So yea if it's a backlight issue check with him.. if the display is completely dead.. consider reaching out to local music / electronic repair people.. there might be a way to actually fix what's actually wrong if it.. it's a long shot depending on the issue but it's not like this is audio/dsp trouble.. this kind of tech is more general electronics.
