I assumed as much and used song mode. In fact, I did it twice--a second time because I needed to turn the "rechannelize"function off. I usually have it set to "record only," but since in this case I wanted 8 CZ tracks to be recorded onto 8 E-Mu tracks, I changed that. See private mail to access the midi file and a CZ dump (wav) of what I had sent it (just the left). Steve
