There are inexpensive MIDI patchbays that will do it for you. I think Digital Music MX-8 has this function, along with more fancy stuff, such filtering, zoning, and MIDI delays. They can be had for $50-75 these days if you look hard. I have three of these, and use them to route all my modules MIDI out streams back to the computer for editing.
