Hi, inspired by that question I\ufffdm working for years with a math-formula to calculate exactly the loop-samples for desired beats per minute (Bpm)! At first you have to know what frequenzy your sampler working with. I possess a Roland sampler S330 which works with 30.000Hz and 15.000Hz (In my formula I call it SR(Hz)). But my creation works with any kinds of values: (1.) Bpm ---- = Bsek 60 (2.) SR(Hz) ------ = SMLL/4 Bsek Note: "SMLL/4" is the sample measure-loop lenght (not a timeline!) of a quarter beat, so you have to multiply it with 4 when your song is written in 4/4 time measure!!! Greets MIKE that would be very cool.

What I will probably end up doing is sampling those sounds and
then just looping them..

--- In CZsynth@y..., "Furman, Jon W." <jfurman@t...> wrote:
> Yeah those kinds of sounds are fun to do but I always ran into
trouble when
> I tried to synch them up to a sequencer.
