I've been try to refrain from jumping in on these good conversations because I'm real busy here at work but I have to say that I've seen it on the VZ's. You can hear it If you hit them with a bunch of CC data, this happens even if the CC data is on a different MIDI channel than the one that the VZ is currently assigned to.
