CZ-101, black wire inside came loose.

CZ-101, black wire inside came loose.

2003-08-13 by David Weaver

Hi gang. I have a CZ-101 that will not power up now. I opened it
up to discover the black wire is disconnected on one end. I'm
trying to figure out where it goes so I can solder it back. Does
anyone have any pictures of their CZ-101's back off? Thanks!

Hi David -

Are you running off of batteries or AC adaptor power?
Also, is there a red and black wire leading to the
battery compartment?

There is a pic of the power board.

Hi Brandon, I use the AC adapter. There is a red wire running the
length of the battery compartment, and the short black wire is
connected to the circuit board. Is the other end of the black wire
supposed to be connected to the battery compartment, soldered
at the same spot as the red wire? It looks like the previous
solder was enough for both wires so maybe that's where it cam
off? Thanks.

Hi Terry. Thanks, but these pics don't show the black and red
wires. Oh well.

Actually, I meant that there's extra solder near where the green
wire connects to the battery, not the red wire. Sorry.
