Manual, Problems with Internal Memory, How to do a bulk dump from Casio CZ 101

2003-08-25 by pavlovertical

Hi, I'm an argentian musician and i bought an CZ 101 last week, it's
a nice synth and it has a lot of 80's ounds that I can't get in my
other synths. The Internal Memory only save data for ½ hour when I
turn the synth Off, I was reading about this and it is a common
problem. Please tell me, do I have to change an internal batteries?
Or is it the memory?
I found up a lot of programs to send and receive patches from my
computer, but If I want to carry the CZ to a live performance does it
mean that I got to carry my computer too, and it's a little bit
complicated. I have also and EPS 16 with a disk drive unit, so I
could make the bulks dump there, Someone knows how can I start the
bulk dump from the CZ 101?
The Main problem is that I bought the unit without the Manual. You
can make me a great favour if you can tell me where I can download a
sacanned version or a txt version of the manual
Thanks

Someone here scanned the CZ101 manual a while back, and I saved a
copy. Seems to me it should be in the files section at the yahoo
groups site, but it looks like we've used up our allotment of disc
space. Maybe people could review what they've uploaded there to see if
it's still relevant.

Anyway, I put a copy up in my web space. I'll leave it there for a
couple of days to give you time to download it:

There are a few other documents at the yahoo site that you might find
useful.

I took the CZ101 manual down after 4 days. If you want a copy, please
email me and I'll send one to you or anyone else here. It's about 1.6
MB in size.

Cool! Besides being able to write a killer song and produce the snot
out of anything, the man knows his way around a synthesizer, I think.

Thanks for the offer. Not a big deal. I was just curious to see how
it compared with the CZ-5000.

Todd was "Born to Synthesize." Wish my turntable worked--I'd pull
out Healer and give it another listen!

I already downloaded it, thank you very much. Also, I had downloaded another zip file with all the pages scanned one by one from http://www.cosmosynths.userpage.de/

I hope you can tell me where I can get a memory cartbridge or if it possible to make one ( I saw some instructions to make one on the fle section )
