I've been looking for one for about six months. It kills me--the first time I looked on eBay, one was for sale--I figured they probably came up all the time. Then I never saw one again...

Definitely a hit or miss proposition. I was looking for a while and found one on the net listed by a music store for real cheap ($8 or something like that). When I got it, it had the original price tag the music store put on it - like $50 or so. They probably lost the thing in a closet somewhere for years. Never know when luck might strike! Keep looking. I'd love to get one, and create a BIG cart as I did with the DX-7. Does
anyone has at least the layout of the cart and schematics?

Hi. I do have a RA-100 available, as well as a RA-500 ROM card and the European Collection, all in pristine condition. I haven't used them in a while, but I've kept them as threasures so I won't be willing to depart with them unless there is a very good offer. Unfortunately for those looking for these cards, they are often time valued higher than the VZ synth itself. Anyone interested, let me know your offer. Hi to you all in this group!!! I have a CZ-1000 since a kid and VZ-10M for some years now, and I also search like hell to got RAM cards for these two "babys". Recently (on German Ebay )I manage to get hold of a RA-500 (for the VZ-10M ), and I also stumble on a RAM for the CZ-1000, so, they exist out there, just keep your "Ebay eyes" open. I have this three pristine ROM cards for the VZ-10M,( included is the case, booklet, and anti-static sleeve, only for the RC-130 and RC-140). For a good offer, think they are more usefull to anyone than to me rigth now. SOUND ROM RC-130 - European Collection SOUND ROM RC-140 - Hi-Powered Collection SOUND ROM RC-100

Hmm... I didn't know you could use one with a CZ. Do all of the RA-series carts work with all the Casio synths? I have a 4-bank 64-patch cart for my CZ; could I use it to store patches on my HT-6000? > For a CZ101. > >Andrew, what do you use yours for? I want one for an HT-6000.

I think so (I don't have mine in front of me but I think it's a RA6). One caveat, although some cards may have more memory/storage, the additional storage cannot be accessed by all CZ types. (Probably a matter of the number of address lines for a particular CZ synth's memory architecture - earlier CZs address less patch memory no matter what the physical storage available on the RAM card.)
