I'm using CZ 101 librarian (found on vintagesynth.com) to transfer patches. It seems
to act like it's working. But it doesn't seem to be sending patches to the synth.

I've also got a sysex patch editor. It doesn't seem to be sending any patches.

I'm not getting any error messages.

I'm new to using this synth. Am I doing something wrong?

RE: [CZsynth] more problems

I haven't had much luck getting patches to transfer with my CZ-101 and some of the free librarians (windows) out there. It seems to lock up the synth. I have my old Opcode Patch Librarian for the CZ series (macintosh), which worked great. They put the copy protection on the floppies (400k). I can't get it to run anymore (I hate copyprotection schemes).

Supposedly, there is some sort of handshaking needed before it will work correctly. Some early versions of CZ roms may be more finicky... not sure if this is true, but its what I read somewhere.
