So have anyone been able to dump sysex via MidiOx to a vz1 ?

I haven't used MidiOx for the VZ, but I am wondering if the message
is a MidiOx message or a VZ message. (Below are VZ-8m error messages
and fixes, in case it helps.)

--Steve

*Here are the error messages I have been getting when sending VZ
sysex data to the VZ-8m. (See my previous message about channel and
data type matching.)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Message: --TRANS ERROR--- | CHECK SYSTEM!
Problem: Data channel <> VZ receive channel
Solution: Change VZ channel to match sysex file data.

Message: --MIDI ERROR--- | RECEIVE ERROR
Problem: Data type transmitted <> Data type expected
Solution: Select proper data type when loading data type into VZ.
---------------------------------------------------------------

I have been able to save the patches from my VZ1 to midiox, but then
when I try the reverse (load the voices back onto the vz1 from midiox)
I get the LOAD ERROR CHECK SYSTEM. Everything is enabled and im
saving and loading VOICE only on the menu 3 page. Im trying to play
with the speed settings in midiox but Im not sure I fully understand it.

is done sending the file, the vz1 just dites there blinking executing...
its like this time will not recognize anything.

Getting frustrated and thinking of selling it.

Hi,

well, the amount of data the juno sending/receiving is relatively
small compared to the patch/bank data of the VZ-1, so this might not
be an indication that the MIDI-OX setting are correct...
You could try to set delay between buffers and F7 in the configure
window to maybe 100ms and more...
What MIDI Interface are you using?

I think I tried midi-ox to upload sysex to the VZ-1 once and can't
remeber having had much problems. But I usualy use Sounddiver to
handle Sysex-Date...
