cc7 doesn't change anything, i've tried.

Usually is not enough: i'm asking changing volume /track level for
cz5000 please.
In my conf. i use CZ5000 set as all 8 track mono controlled by pc.

have tried with CC 7: doesn't work.

Using 8 track mono on cz5000.

Mode=normal.

In this mode cz5000 is fully responsive for program change, portamento
on/off and time, and other stuff i don't need.

I need to simply adjust the volume of the 8 track via midi: that's all.

Is there someone using cz5000 and been successfull changing track
volume with an external sequencer?

Sorry to hear, since it works about fine, except randomly muting the 
complete synth on rare occasions, on the CZ-1...
