Man! Whatever you're smoking, please put it down and walk away! That's
really out of left field for sure!!

I hope nobody was too upset by my post. It has never been proven that
I'm crazy, and I don't smoke. I joined my first Yahoo groups about 2
months ago, and I've posted (seriously, not humorously) to at least 7
of them (including this one, several weeks ago) and had never received
a reply. Nobody said "Boo!" I wondered if anyone else could read my
posts! Some of them contained potentially useful information (like
this one - soon, I promise). I thought a little pun might get a rise,
and it did! ("Pitchblende" [not "pitch bend"] _is_ one of the most
common ores from which we get Uranium.)
Now, as promised - the useful information: One of the most useful
sources I know for information about CZs, VZs, and FZs is the
Casiologie site. The link under "Links" seems to have expired. The
current url is "http://www.jz-server.de/casiology/".
Hello! I have a CZ-101, CZ-5000, CZ-1, VZ-8M, and VZ-10M. I think
the CZs are the best deal around for those wanting to learn how to
program synthesizers. They're easy to learn to program, with very
rewarding sounds! I think the VZs, Yamaha FS1Rs, and Synergy DKIIs
(all of which I have), are the most powerful programmable digital
synths ever made (there may be some I'm unfamiliar with), but are not
for the faint of heart.

Thanks for your indulgence,
synergeezer

Thanks for the link. It looks a nice site although it could do with some
more posts...get busy guys. It sounds like you have the full range of CZs -
the VZs in particular seem to be quite rare these days (I suppose they never
sold in the same volume as the CZs). It always surprises me that CZ-101s go
for a lot more on eBay than their bigger cousins. People must like their
portability and "toy" keyboard. They do look quite cool I suppose.
