just got a cz-101. awesome! chord -accompaniment casio?

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but i figured this would be a
better place than any considereing the appreciation for cheaper but
quality sounds. Can anyone recommend a casio/casiotone/anybrand that
has strong fingered chord sounds, that will play minor/seventh chords?
without rhythm accompaniment. Just solo, long tone chords. Like older
organs.

Thanks,

~tony

Howdy,

YES, Get an old Yamaha Cx5-M computer. The original had a wonderful 1 or 2 finger chord setup. The one with the SFG-05 sound module is good too. Without the sfg-05, you'll have to get a YK keyboard but the one finger chording is a little better. Not much. The SFG-05 allows you to play with regular midi boards. They are not for sale often, but they are cheap and have lots of features. Especially if you buy some of the cartridges for them, depending on what you want to do. You will need a composite monitor, or an RF modulator to plug into a regular TV. I have 6 and I love them.
