Hi all, I'm beginning to regret mentioning the FZ1 a few years back,on UK ebay prices have gone crazy, I'd hate to think how much an FZ20m will go for....... Jason

I picked one up last summer for 40 GBP ;-) It has the extra memory over the 10M, though is missing the synth section :-( Chas On 24 January 2012 19:23, Jason Adkins <jason_ralf808@...> wrote: > ** > > > Hi all, > > I'm beginning to regret mentioning the FZ1 a few years back,on UK ebay > prices have gone crazy, > I'd hate to think how much an FZ20m will go for....... > > Jason > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Hi Chas, Well done, very well done,I have always got my best bargains from girls's who have broken up with their boyfriends/husbands and want to dump all his stuff on ebay, got quite a few decent bits of gear because of that! lol I thought the FZ20M was an FZ10M but with SCSI built in? Jason

Hi Jason, Yes, the FZ20M is basically an FZ10M with built in SCSI. I thought the 10M only came with 1MB as standard whereas the 20M came with 2MB. However, I think I got that information wrong. I got it as an Ebay bargain as it was collection only. It wasn't even that far from me so I did well on that front! Just wish I had more time to play with it and get the most out of its capabilities :-( Mind you, I have a very large collection of Casios that I wish I had more time to play with... Jason, if it's any consolation, when I was looking for a CZ-1 and an HT6000 they all seemed to be in the USA! A constant watch on Ebay over about a year eventually turned one of each up at the right price :-) As for the VL-1, it's a cool machine! The VL-1 was my very first Casio, and I still have it. I think I now have 14 Casios in total from the baby VL-1 right up to the 'King Casios' CZ-1, HT6000 and FZ20M! I think I'll have to stop collecting them them now as I've run out of room...! I love VL1, I have 8 of them - 2x VL1, 2x VL1m, 2x VL engine in my two EX5 and 2x VL card in MU128. But those were produced by Yamaha :-) Daniel Forro
