Wow..wooden sides!! That's the first time I've ever heard of anyone doing that to a CZ, that kind of mod is usually done by those maniacal analog people! Did you do that yourself or did a previous owner? You should post some pictures to the shared files area, I'm sure we'd all love too your CZ deluxe. Jon

I like the idea of trying to possibly (if that's what you did) bypassing the amp section (?) & will consider trying to do that. I have a soldering iron & I guess could search (any clues?) for the beginning of the audio out path right before the internal amp..... As for the difference between a deluxe and a normal CZ3000, this one has wooden sides whereas the other few I've run into were pure plastic. Really a great sound w/ the CZ3000....
