CZ3000 ROM cartridge

Hi again people. First of all, thanks for the advice on the last post. I have a new query regarding my CZ3000. Is an RC30 Organ/Synth/Effects cartridge compatible with the slot on the back of my synth? One has popped up on eBay and I'm tempted expand the palette of sounds I can make.

Rob, I think it should be compatible as the bigger CZ's can take all the CZ RAM cartridges, including those from the 101/ 1000. I think it is the larger RAM cartridge (RA60?) that the smaller CZ's can't access. However, I've never used a ROM cartridge in any of my CZ's so can't be certain whether the RC30 will work in a CZ3000 or not.

Thanks for the advice. After asking the seller on eBay he told me it did not fit the CZ5000, therefore wouldn't be compatible with the 3000. Best not to risk it. Thanks.

brilliant. ataris are great with a flat panel monitor :) you get a randomizer

in there - it can get you to the end of a CZ quite quickly tho'...(d*mn wish

i'd kept my mint cz101+cart... decided to keep a vz8m, but it isn't the same

thing)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
