My thoughts of the VZ-1

Hello and to be very honest I don't know what to do without my VZ synthesizers since I had them for around 30 years. I don't care of what others says but this is still a relatively a new synthesizor to me and I am still scratching the surface. With that being said it's just a wonderful synth period. This thing is begging to be programmed and it just wont leave me alone in a sense that I just have to fire it up to program something each time i'm by the computer.. People would think I'm rather crazy for not buying a newer advanced keyboard synthesizer but that's not the case. I'm very happy with the VZ and I don't think there will be another one quite like the VZ1 or VZ10m without recorded samples. Whoever came out with the VZ's was way ahead of they're time. This was a milestone ever since the Yamaha DX7 I think. Sad thing that they were so underrated they had to discontinue them. These days I just don't limit myself to only the casio VZ but I do play soft synths as well like Alchemy, Dune2, Halion 6 and others.
