Sorry, I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I would discourage
using the sequencer on the CZ 5000. It is very primitive and a pain in
the butt to edit. I did my first recordings as a teenager using it, but
even that was with the step mode. The real time mode, if I recall
correctly, requires that you get everything right when you play it; no
editing of a real time performance allowed.
So, if you're up for a lot of frustration. go for it! Otherwise, use a
different sequencer, or stick to the step mode for simple patterns.

Subject: [CZsynth] CZ 5000 Sequencer
I just purchased a used CZ 5000 w/o a manual. I have downloaded a CZ
3000 manual for the general synthesis of the machine.
What I don't have are instructions for the sequencer, esp. in real
time. Can anyone advise how to test the sequencer and the process for
recording and storing real time.
Thanks!
Joe
