Yes this is a first for me too after to many years and too many 
wall-warts to admit to. In fact I was certain that the Evolver had 
failed and was pulling-down the voltage output so much that the power 
LED (on the PSU) was not lit because how could it be a dead wall-wart? 
But alas it was.

I'll email Dave and see what he suggests.
