My skills are not up to building one of those kits, but I see you got one ready-made. Is this an option for the rest of us? How do you like the P3 compared to all of the other new ones that are appearing? > However, now Dave has kindly added the ability to step the sequencer > via MIDI notes I have a great addition to my armoury. This is a concept I really don't understand. What is the use for this in comparison to syncing the sequencer via midi clock? Are you sending multiple midi notes between each sequencer step? > I do the above > and then, for variation in a gig (cos I really would not reprogram the > Evo live) I hit start on the sequencer. So, how is this different than having 16 presets to do the same thing? I'm new to step sequencers, so please excuse my ignorance. > Incidentally, that's why it would be far easier if the sequencer added > or subtracted its value to the stored values for any parameter - > currently I have to know every value I am sequencing so, at some > steps, I can get something that sounds as if related to the original > patch... LOL! I've read this paragraph 10 times, but the concept has not hit me yet. Are you talking the Evolver internal or the P3 when you talk about knowing the values you are sequencing? Thanks! Maybe I will learn some new tricks from you guys! Sayer
