I had a lot of input to how it currently works (and to future developments, poor Colin, I never stop) so it works very quickly and logically for me and the way I like to do things. It's designed so that everything can be done live during playback and, well, we can chat offline about it if you like as there is far more in it than first might appear. >This is a concept I really don't understand. It's like in the old days of the ARP sequencer (I might sell one of mine BTW) where you could clock the sequencer with a pulse (not the Waldork variety, arf arf) or via the gate output on your synth. If means you can change timbres for each note you play and that's rather nice for subtle or very wild stuff - for solos, not just sequencing. >So, how is this different than having 16 presets to do the same >thing? I'm new to step sequencers, so please excuse my ignorance. Because you would have to have 16 different patches rather than one. Maybe just playing with it will make more sense than my laborious explanations, especially given my magic shortbread is just kicking in... 8) >LOL!
