Re: [Evolver] cases and stands

2003-12-12 by Damon Menne

I use two things... I've got an M-Audio studio pack for my powerbook,
audio interface, small mixer, cables, tea bags, caffeinated mints,
jbirds, etc.

I've also got this camera bag... it's well padded with ceramic inserts
on the bottom and sides to resist punctures. I bought a ton of that
dense gray packing foam, and essentially made a custom carrier which
holds my evolver, drum machine and a couple other small pieces of kit.
It's about the same size as a sport bag / duffel bag.

I'd recommend this route... it takes a little planning, but it's
rewarding in the end. Find a big bag store and find a sturdy camera
bag that's got "one big pocket" and customize.

I can't speak highly enough of the m-audio studio pack either... it's
so much space, and so rugged. Not exactly clandestine though...

I haven't yet figured out what the heck I'm going to do about
transportation of the monomachine. Weird shape + semi-delicate seeming
joystick = pretty custom bag requirements.
