Sequence 1 is special- it contains a setting called "Off," near "rst" (reset). Off means that step will not trigger the envelopes, and will hold the last value the sequence contained. This can be used to make sustained notes and rhythmic sequences. Seq's 2-4 do not have off. If you want to sustain a value there, you have to set the value to the same as the previous step's value. But this does nothing about creating a longer gate time :) As someone suggested, you can set long release times with a long attack time to create an approximation of an attack that's slower than a half of a single step. -N "SyncFan6000@wherever" --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "jpyn8 <jp1@c...>" <jp1@c...> wrote: > > > Is there any way of varying the gate time of a sequence step > and/or > > tieing two steps together (ie. simluting a held down key) ? > > > > > > Simon > > > > Simon - > > > > Currently, there is no such feature... > > > > It can be simulated though - I know there are some presets in Bank A > that have sustained notes across sequencer steps.
