Do you own any 1u rack synths? Well, it being a RACK and missing more than half the buttons and knobs than the desktop, it is inherently more difficult to program. This goes for most any 1u rackmount synths, like Access Virus racks for example. It's world's different and difficult versus a full desktop version. Heck, I use the editor with the silgle Evolver version b/c it's quicker and easier to navigate. Just like I do with the Virus and it's included editor. Plus the editor is both mac/pc, I say the fellow who thought about going backto the regular evolver is making a big mistake. Having the eight knobs isn't worth it to me. And if tactile editing is a must, I say save a few more pennies and get the keys version. Don't go back to single voice evolver just yet, play with the editor.
