Having the eight knobs isn't worth it to me. I rather like the mono evolver's interface -- it's not really the 8 knobs (though they help), it's the way they and the buttons are are positioned around a large friendly diagram. Very intuitive really. With a larger display and a nicer shift-key setup I'd be happy as a clam. Of course the kb version looks like a dream come true...
