I've found the reason for the input clipping, but I don't know if this is normal. If I change the output settings of my Echo Soundcard from +10 to -4 db then I can adjust the inputlevel on my evolver untill the clipping stops. But I always work with my soundcard on +10 db,is this signal then to hot for the evolver?I like more the sound if its on + 10 db (I always take care that my souncart doesn't clip). If i mute the input level and the output level on my evolver (as an FX in) there is no output (logical) but it still's clipping. Why doesn't the input level prevent this? That I don't understand. Richard You where right about the volume level. If i adjust the variuos volumes I can use the distortion in a normal way.
