I believe that the new ones are already updated. You can check and see what
version is on it - I forget the commands, but download the files from the
DSI site and it has instructions.

Finally part of the club!!
Mine arrived at Guitar Center today! I tried playing with it earlier but
only had headphones,
pretty cool though.
I'm a bit irked that I have pay another $25 to upgrade the thing. I just
spent $500!!!! And
then another $50 if I want the editor? Not cool.
Suppose I should have read about this thing a bit more before jumping in.
Bummer.
I want to get to programming and exploring, but don't want to create any
patches unless they
will be compatible with the new chipset.
Are they?
Any patches for the BCR2000?
