Re: [Evolver] Re: 3.0 2cents

Excellent!

I am stepping up my Mono Evolver programming efforts, now that I have my
Monomachine set ready to go. I intend to integrate the Monomachine and
Evolver for my next series of compositions. If you guys are willing to
give me advice and field what might be a series of silly questions, I
would appreciate it.

Originally, I intended for the Evolver simply to serve as a bridge
between Monomachine songs, so I could make smoother transitions. But I
knew from the moment I heard the Evolver in person that I wanted it to
be much more than a bridging instrument. I have gotten the basic
(signal flow, simple sequencing, simple routing) under my belt, and now
I'm ready to take the next step into writing programs that are more
sophisticated.

I'm also considering getting a knob box to go with my Evolver 3.0. The
Control Freak Live is the current favorite, since it will merge incoming
MIDI. That way, I can send clock and sequencing data from the
Monomachine, through the Live, and into the Evolver. Does anyone here
have experience with the Live?

/Scott
