I've noticed odd behavior where selecting a part with the part button
doesn't "take" for some parameters (I _think_ one may be the osc-sync
button), and ends up affecting the wrong part until you tweak another
parameter that _does_ take.

However the effect is hard to pin down (in part because there's no
display feedback for some params like osc-sync), so I'm not entirely
sure whether it's real or I'm simply hallucinating.
