Wow, Steve, I'm really not sure. Maybe something in the output stage. Definitely some component or another is failing. I'm a little surprised, too, as I haven't has a lick of trouble with my original desktop Evo, though I'll admit I haven't left it on 24/7 for years. In any case, contacting Dave is the way to go. He sort of knows these machines inside out. ;) He usually responds VERY quickly, but I think he's just a bit behind on email right now because of the hectic activities around the release of the P'08.
