Breath control is a modulation source on the Blofeld. The arpeggiator is a bit more flexible than the Evolvers note sequencer, but the Evolver has the edge because of the ability to have four sequences to control any parameter. I find the Evolver to be a lot simpler to edit but that viewpoint might change once I learn where all the parameters are because the LCD screen on the Blofeld provides a lot more information the the Evolvers screen ever could. Both synths have the ability produce sound that can make your jaw drop. Support wise I would probably give the nod to the Evolver. You can probably find an evolver a lot quicker than you can find a Blofeld at this point.
