Let me just say that I've had the Evolver since it came out. And I've recently purchased a blofeld. The blofeld is certainly no toy. It has some sick sick capabilities. On Thu, Apr 3, 2008 at 5:00 PM, wilsontherocker <wilsontherocker@gmail.com> wrote:
I'm fairly certain Sustain isn't a destination in the modulation
slots, but Release is. So, not knowing exactly how EWIs work, I think
if you're not triggering any notes and lowering the breath amount,
then yes, you should be able to trigger a "fresh" envelope.
Also, VCA level is a modulation destination, so (again, I'm ignorant
about EWIs) theoretically you could control the amp envelope with
nothing but your breath amount!
Back in high school I was a trumpet player, so there's definitely a
part of me that would love to use an EVI (or something that responds
to trumpet fingerings) with my evolver.
And the comment about the Blofeld being a toy is nonsense. As long as
it has breath control as a mod source (and I'd assume it does), either
one of the synths you mentioned will give you tons of possibilities
and good sounds.

You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.
