I already answered your questions on the other (EWI) list but in
further defense of the Evolver I've posted a recording of me playing a
Telemann Sonata on my EWI4000s with a crazy Evolver sound.  This is
directly out of the Mono Evolver Desktop (the "hi-fi" version is from
Evolver's stereo output).
