Re: [DSI Synths] rotary encoder fix?

2010-09-11 by Oliver Keller

Since I\ufffdm a hardware fetishist, I took the liberty to buy a big bottle
of DeOxid for all my other boxes like troublesome Yamaha A series
samplers well known for encoder issues.

So far I also had good results from applying the fluid to the axis from
top, i.e. just remove the knobs without disassembling the synth, then
apply a drop or two so that it can run down the axis into the casing of
the encoder.

Would try that first just to save time.
