Hi - I also did the full upgrade. Yes, it is crazy expensive however, it does turn the PEK into a proper synth. For me, the original endless encoders made the PEK fell like a generic MIDI controller, like the Novation Zero SL. Everything you do with endless encodes requires that you watch the LCD to give you feedback as to what you are doing. Regular knobs provide feedback in their own right. Installation is easy - if you know how to use a screwdriver, you will be able to do the swap.. Good luck..
