I'm really lurking here having not purchased the Evolver yet! Boele almost has me convinced to buy one.... Too bad he didn't have it yet when I visited him in the Netherlands last month! > Way OT here, but what do you think of your new OB12, especially > compared to your Virus and your AN1x? The OB-12 is very different sounding than the AN1x or Virus. It has a more relaxed sound with a rather unique character. The interface is absolutely wonderful. I used it to control the MKS-80 (rack version of Roland Juptier) with great results. The OB12 is one of the casualties of my current studio reconfigure, along with the Quasimidi 309, FutureRetro 777, JP-8080 (most likely), and several others. I'm hoping to trade one of those for a Nord Rack 2 and sell the rest. Then I will also have room and money for an Evolver! ;-) Well... that's the plan anyway. Once I do get the Evlover I'll be sure to create and share some patches, although they won't match up to what Boele and Stephan are doing! The EX5R will be with me forever though! Sayer
