A37 still makes me scream for joy at about the eighth hit . . . (after inquiry I found out that Dave himself made that patch).

Another early favorite was A13. I like a lot ofother patchesin there too.

Ravi - Dave told me earlier that you liked A13, which is one that I
programmed. That made me quite happy, you see, because I had told
Dave quite some time back that your sequence in A1 was the best of
the lot. I told him that back when I first heard it in slot A21 in
pre-production unit #0002. I still think it's the coolest little
sequence in the Evolver, and certainly deserves to be in A1!

All - There are a lot of great patches already in the Evolver, but I
really think that the best is yet to come. As everyone gets more
comfortable and experienced in using their Evolvers, I think we're
going to be hearing some great stuff!

Yeah, excellent job on A1. I don't want to get into naming every
single patch as "who did what" - first of all, I had nothing to do
with any of them, and second, I don't really know any of you guys :)
But the sequence in A1 is a perfect introduction to the Evolver.
After pressing Start you have to ask yourself "This is a MONO
synth?!?"

Thanks, yes it was a nice coincedence. My only minor peeve is that the patch that I programed that is now in slot A1 is missing two oscillator parts from the original which actually has four separate lines going at the same time. Thus the patch to me sounds empty as compared to the version that is still on Dave's site.

Which brings me to the next order of business.

People should feel free to post new patches, or even, we could create user patchsets as well on this list.

Re: Wow! - missing oscillators

2002-11-07 by Ski

Ravi - I just powered up my production Evolver for the first time
minutes ago. After a quick preview, I noticed that some of the
sequences I programmed seem to be missing some sounds, too (when
compared to my beta unit). Now that *might* be my imagination, but
it also might be a difference between the production and the beta
units. Of course, it could also be that Dave edited those
sequences. I'll have to do a bit more careful comparison to see.

I just got mine this afternoon. Patch A37 made my kitten run from the
room. Heh heh...
