>Congrats, James :)

Thanks, Stefan!
Its nice to see some familliar names among the members of this group.
I really love this new synth! As an indication, I've already programmed four of my own sounds from scratch - from the front panel of the Polyevolver! I'll get around to installing the editor tomorrow.
Are there any caveats I should know about this blue beastie?
Best Regards, James

Yes, it arouses GAS and you'll be in danger to lust for the next:

http://www.trippler.net/files/pics/lightsb.jpg
http://www.trippler.net/files/pics/lightsc.jpg
and the background athmo for the pics:
http://www.trippler.net/files/poly/backlights.mp3 ;-))

For serious: the OS is bug free, I didn't notice any flaws during the year
since I have it.
There's only one thing that bother's me a little: I can't connect the single
outs to my patchbay without disconnecting them from the mix. But that's only
a small inconvenience.

Let's hear some Evo music then ;)

Best

Stefan

LOL! Sweet sounds! You've been pretty busy. I notice you've done the lion's share of the demos on Dave's site - nice gig!!!

As far as G.A.S. goes, I'm a *recovering* addict ;)
Except for the Polyevolver, I've actually gotten rid of about 20 spaces of rack gear and some keyboards since these photos were taken:
http://www.carbon111.com/rustyinsects.html
I'm actually making *more* music now that I have *less* gear.

As much as I wanted the Polyevolver keyboard, I couldn't bear to part with my JD-800 - I just don't have the room.

My sympathy goes out to you ;)

You will...I've already got some cool song rudiments played on the Polyevolver. The step sequencer is not only fun but is a good "inspiration starter". I can't believe this ammount of SOUND is coming out of a single-space rack unit!
Best Regards, James

I already read about that a while ago. Not a bad decision. I guess I should
do the same and buy your Adam P11a instead ;)
