OS update: lfo sync

OS update: lfo sync

2005-08-11 by matsag21

Hi,

in the update v3 pdf, i was reading the following about lfo sync:
"LFO sync feature has been added; just turn the LFO amount over 100,
and LFO sync will be on."

is it lfo sync to midi clock ?
does it mean that amount of 101 will be amout of 1 with lfo sync, 102
-> amount of 2 with lfo sync etc...

or is it something completely different ?

thanks

mathieu

No.

The LFO cycle starts at every keystroke. When you press a key with
the amount anywhere past 100, and you have say, a falling sawtooth
selected for the wave, it will start at the top of the wave every
time the key is pressed. If a rising sawtooth is selected, the wave
will start at the bottom at each keystroke.
It's a cool effect and one of the suggestions I submitted to Dave
when he was taking suggestions for the 2.0 update.
