Sequencer does not trig envelope the same way as the keyboard?

Hi! I'm a PEK owner and I have a question regarding envelop trig. It seams that the sequencer does not trig the envelopes (Filter) the same way as when I play manually on the keyboard. If I create a sound using some normal filter envelope settings, turn up the Filter envelope amount and then record a sequence on the internal sequencer (Seq1). After setting the destination to control all oscillators pitch the sound does not sound the same. I have to turn up the Filter Envelope amount to get the same sound. What I'm I doing wrong? Best regards Demokid

There is no 'osc follow' for the filter, and since the sequencer is changing oscillator pitches rather than pressing keys, the filter cutoff remains at a constant frequency rather than adjusting itself. One thing you can try to be certain that this is what's causing it is to play some notes from the keyboard while your sequence is playing - those notes should sound like what you wanted the sequence to sound like, but the sequence will still sound dark. I hope that is accurate/helpful! -Mok

Do you have a non-zero filter-env-velocity setting[*]? That might explain it -- keyboard playing will probably have different velocities that sequencer-triggered notes (I'm not sure what velocity notes triggered by the sequencer will have ... I guess either 64 or 128 seem possible ??) [*] Or some other velocity-dependent mod routings -Miles -- We are all lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. -Oscar Wilde

Hi guys! Thanks for helping me. I have no filter-env-velocity but I guess I have some keyboard track on the filter. It is probably that. :) Thanks again!
