Hi Again,

Just got a reply from Dave, they are sending me a replacement display.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Guys,

The back light on my PEK has just failed. Has anyone else seen this?

It then came back for a bit but just on the left side and now it has
gone again. I seem to remember it being lit from both the left and right
side before but I am not sure.

Is it something I can have a look at by opening up the case or will this
void my warranty?

Cheers

Andy

This happened to my PEK within a month after receiving it. The
display is on a large circuit board. You'll have to remove all the
knobs and top screws, lift the top, unplug all the circuit boards
and make the switch. Don't forget to return the defective board to
Dave :)
