Making a PER Mono?

Making a PER Mono?

2007-02-23 by swan_beat9

Hey Everyone,

I'm glad to have found a good resource for all things (poly) evolver. I own a poly rack myself
and I have a question about it. My understand of the synth is pretty solid, but is the only way
to make it a mono synth by switching all 4 voices to mono in combo mode? This seems kind
of like a hassle, but I guess it's possible, considering even with just one osc active, you still
trigger a different voice each time.

Basically, I'm trying to create a mono legato synth with some crazy env/lfo modulation for
some basslines. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks. -Andy

I have a PEK, so it may be slightly different, but if all you want to
do is change the voice assignment so that only voice one plays, you
can do this in program mode. In the Misc Parameters section, there is
an option for "Key Mode" - this can be set to Poly, Mono, Unison1, and
Unison2. Try Mono for one voice mono, or try Unison for all voices
output but mono keyboard action.

Hope that helps,
Mark
