PEK Combo Midi PGM Change

PEK Combo Midi PGM Change

2008-10-02 by kunztoph

Hi there,
(i guess this question was already discussed earlier, but i didnt find
a clean answer):
is it possible to make PGM changes in Combo Mode (not the Combo
itself, only one of the Four Voices) via midi by an external sequencer?
or do i have to build up my combos individually (every voice in
program mode)?
are there any solutions?
links welcome =)
thanx

Hi kunztoph,

Suprisingly, it is not possible to change individual programs in a
combo. So much for the claim that a Poly "is like having four Mono
Evolvers". This is why I sold my Poly Rack and am making due with 2 mono
Evolvers.

hi Iain,
thanx for ur answer. itsa kind of disapointing; i actually bought it
for some live-multimode tweaking... so they shouldnt announce it like
they do. editing in this way is quite annoying.
anyway, i do have another mono as well
still a great sounding synth
do u know a good editor on osx? didnt find anything that seems to be
good...
cheers
chris
