Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I'm looking at renting an amp for a few days for use with my DTXPress
II.  They were all out of keyboard amps, but told me that a bass amp
would work well, too.  It's a 100W amp (don't know the model), and I
was assured that it would be able to handle the range from cymbals
through to bass drum.  The salesperson hooked one of the bass guitars
up to it, and played a bit.  It sounded fantastic... at least with the
bass guitar.  They didn't have an e-kit set up to test it with.  

Has anyone here used a bass amp for their e-drums before?  Is there
anything I should know before I take this one home with me?  I just
don't wanna throw away the 30 bucks it'll cost me to rent it.
