I have had my DTXpress for about 3 months.
Just yesterday my kick drum started having some problems. The volume
has become very low relative to the other pads and on some hits it will not
sound at all. I have the volume on the back of the kick drum
all the way up and the volume on the dtxpress unit is all the way
up. I switched out the cable to see if that was the problem and got
the same result. ; It acts the same way on any kit I
select. All of the other pads sound fine.
Is it possible that the pad has gone
bad? If so how long should they last if I average an hour a day
playing?
