See if you can check the specs of your Peavey. If it doesn't go above upper bass or lower midrange, your e-kit won't be getting its due. Of course, none of this will mean a lick if the cabinets can't reproduce anything but bass frequencies. ==================== Hi, The Peavey Amp I have is the Mark VI Series and is about 12 years old, although it has hardly any use on it. I didn't dig up the specs on it yet, but it has a built in equilizer with the top band centered on 10kHz. It also has a built in crossover adjustable between 200 and 2000 Hz and I do have a spare stereo amp laying around here. I'll have to look into the freq response of my GK410 Bass Guitar cabinet, although I don't expect to find it will be high enough for optimal sound. I also have a couple of EV PA type speaker cabs with a big horn and 15" drivers, but they're rediculously big for my living room where I want to set up the drums. Does anyone know the frequency range of cymbals including the overtones and harmonics etc? Cheers, TomBk
