Re: Hart dropouts

2004-12-13 by vl2000_us

What is the group name for Hart? I post here because the core of my
kit is the DTXtreme brain w/5 yam pads. The Harts were add ons. We
had a reheasal yesterday. My volume was a little lower than usual,
and I had one drop out hitting the beginning snare crack for Breaking
the Law. It seems the drop outs only occur during what might be
considered an extra hard hit. Today I plan to tension the snare head
just a little more. I am also interested in hearing from anyone else
having similar problem with Hart or Roland mesh heads.

For the record, if I turn my volume up and play less aggressively I
NEVER experience a problem, but its just a little too loud then for
stage volume. This may just be a matter of continueing to experiment
with volumes, gains and velocities, etc.
