Boy,

You need to play with the "rejection settings". "Self rejection" is
to prevent you getting the same sound twice when you only hit the pad
once. This isn't your problem, but it is worth knowing. If you start
getting a double sound, increase the self rejection. If a pad starts
missing beats (when nothing else is being hit) then reduce the self
rejeciton setting for that pad.

"Specific rejection" deals with the cross triggering problem. The
problems you are having are not uncommon. If you hit the hi-hat (pad
8) and get the snare sound as well (pad 2), you need to increase the
specific rejection for the snare. Go to the trigger settings for pad
2. "SPCrej" is the value, "frm" is the pad which is causing the cross
trigger ("from"). Normally pad 2 has a specific rejection from pad 8
and vice versa. So, you may need to play around increasing the SPCrej
value for the pads you are having problems with. If you increase it
too far you will start to miss real hits.

For the hi-hat foot problem, you need to adjust the "HH OffS" in the
trigger menu (hi-hat offset). A lower value will make it more
sensitive. The T value on the same trigger setting is the splash
detect time. Try increasing that if you are having trouble getting
the "splash" sound.

Keith.
