My g/f bought me a Pearl drum stool which works except a) it creaks, and b) my tutor recommended I buy one that turns to adjust the height as ones that require a drum key for adjustment slowly creep downwards. He was right. So. My recommendation is, don't buy the Pearl drum stool I've got :-) and make sure it adjusts by turning the seat on a thread.
