The velocity levels for the pad and rim are via the single piezo in the pad. Rim is just a ribbon switch. When you hit the edge, you are triggering both the piezo and the rim switch. When the module gets a signal from the piezo without the rim switch closure, the main pad sounds at a volume level based on how hard the pad was struck. When the module gets a signal from the rim switch at the same time as the piezo then the module plays the edge sound at the volume level the pad was struck. The TP65S will only function as a two zone pad on the hihat input. Both rims with play the same sound. Is the edge velocity sensitive like the main body is? My concern is that if I set up a second sound on the edge trigger, it will only be one level.
